Food safety concerns continue to highlight the need for robust standards to prevent foodborne diseases. The BSI, through the UK-funded Standards Partnership programme, supported the Saint Lucia Bureau of Standards (SLBS) in adopting food safety standards Prerequisite Programmes (PRPs) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) with a step-by-step approach tailored to Micro, Small and Medium-sized Entreprises (MSMEs), aiming to align them with international food safety standards. BSI and CROSQ are hosting this a Food Safety Standards Webinar to share information about these standards, explore the potential benefits of these standards to the region and discuss the potential for regional harmonisation.
