The GNBS will be offering a free and short two-day training on the European Union Labelling and Packaging Requirements for CARIFORUM Exporters.
This training is derived from a collaboration between CARICOM Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality (CROSQ) and the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development through the Deutsche Gesellschaft für International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
The purpose of this training is to build capacity in CARIFORUM countries, such as Guyana, to promote and allow greater access to markets in Europe, and more specifically, European Union countries.
The objectives of this 2-day session are:
1. To gain a theoretical understanding of the requirements regarding the Labelling and Packaging Requirements for CARIFORUM Exporters.
2. To be able to locate legal requirements regarding the Labelling and Packaging Requirements for CARIFORUM Exporters.
3. To improve adherence to the EU product labelling and packaging rules and regulations for Pre-Packaged Goods.
