The CARICOM Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality (CROSQ) is conducting a series of ten webinars, to train, sensitise and educate on the importance of quality infrastructure in the Energy Sector, under the Regional Quality Component of the Technical Assistance for Sustainable Energy in the Caribbean (TAPSEC). TAPSEC is an initiative funded by the European Union and the International Cooperation Department of the Federal Republic of Germany and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ).
The next webinar in this series entitled, “Looking to Invest? Let’s Talk Energy and Quality”, will be held on Wednesday May 26, 2020 at 10am AST . This webinar will explore the issues concerning investments in sustainable energy in our region and the necessity for those investments to also consider quality-related parameters. The webinar will feature presentation from organizations such as the Caribbean Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (CCREEE), CARICOM Development Fund (CDF), GetInvest, the Caribbean Development Bank and the CARICOM Regional Organization for Standards and Quality.
