Podcasts Bring New Perspective on Quality Journey

A new promotional initiative by the CROSQ Secretariat is gaining traction and brining new perspectives to the region’s journey in the area of quality infrastructure (QI).

Themed The QUALITY Link, the series features a new national standards body each month, alongside episodes from the Secretariat itself, highlighting an issue or topic in QI. So far topics have ranged from understanding and using metrology (the science of measurement), to standards, trade, quality promotions, customer service, national quality awards, and even cannabis.

Launched in July 2022, The QUALITY Link has thus far featured eight NSBs, and is hoping to have each of the 15 CARICOM Member States showcased in this first series of the podcasts, especially as it has given voice to some of the ideas and issues being tackled by the quality institutions over the years. It is a production of CROSQ’s Marketing Information Knowledge Management and Education (MIKE) Committee, a regional technical committee which provides oversight and advises CROSQ’s Council on matters related to quality promotions.

The episodes are available on YouTube, which is the dedicated home for the editions, but also on Spotify, Google Podcasts and on Spotify’s Podcasters platform.
